We talked about the importance of experience and I’m going to add a few to it today.

Experience help us avoid mistake. Because we have been through a process before, such a process and it’s end result becomes predictable. We can tell from a mile how the end will be and naturally avoid it.

This is basically how our ancestors learned. Trial and error. The aid of communication helped transfer the knowledge gained through their experience to others who may not need to pass through the same experience to arrive at the final result.

This has helped preserve life and helped make us better people generally.

Experience can also make us skilled in a particular area. This reason is what makes parents send their children to school. To gain experience by doing and most importantly listening to and watching more experienced people. At the end of certain period of time, we will discover that certain skills has been acquired.

This can be applied even outside the classroom. People pick up skills everyday. Consciously and unconsciously and use them in life.

We generally learn from our experience and the experience of others. This is why we study; to gain experience.

There are things in this world that are difficult to believe except one is in the mix of the situation. I guess that’s why these kind of events are considered the best teacher.

Experience, something so important it’s demanded at most jobs entry level. I woke up today thinking of how important experience is to our lives as I want to use this writing to encourage as many people as possible to go gain some.

Is experience the best teacher ? Even if the answer is yes, we shouldn’t wish to experience everything. Some will leave us wondering why we had to pass through that fire. Many will leave an indelible scar.

This simply means that experience can be good or bad. Positive or negative and so are it’s effects on man and it’s society. This takes me back to the begging question. What are the importance of experience? Let’s look at some of them.

One thing I’m sure of is that experience leaves you better than you were. It improves most especially your decision making and helps you reach conclusions faster. Your life is like a laboratory and the things you do daily are like experiments. The outcome of each stays with you forever.
